3M™ Low Static Polyimide Film Tape 5419 has an opaque polyimide layer over a silicone adhesive with extremely low and unique electrical discharge.
At room temperature, the properties of polyimide and polyester are the same. However, as the temperature increases or decreases, the properties of the polyimide layer are less affected than those of polyester.
The polyimide layer does not soften at high temperatures, so it can be used as a surface for other materials at high temperatures.
