3M™ PTFE Tape 5490 uses an extruded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film backing. This tape has an extremely low coefficient of friction, combined with a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive, creating a smooth, non-stick surface on a variety of substrates to support material movement in a variety of flat application type.Non-stick PTFE film provides an especially smooth surface for easy cleaning
